We want to congratulate you on this big achievement. Here you will find important information about your graduation, don’t hesitate to ask us if you have any questions. You have worked hard during the cohort, and we are getting ready to celebrate you.

How to get there.

Taking WAFE's bus service

Select your stop to see more information.

1st Stop: Mt. Vernon 8:45 am

Place: South Mt. Vernon Park and Ride
Address: 1691-1699 E Hickox Rd, Mount Vernon, WA 98273
Time: Be there at 8:45 am. Bus leaves at: 9:00 am

2nd. Stop: Everett 9:45 am

At: South Everett Park and Ride,
Address: 1225 112th St. & I-5, Everett, WA
Time: Be there by 9:45 am

Bus return time

The reunion point will be the same as you were dropped off. Please be there at 3:15 pm.
The bus leaves at 3:30 pm.

Driving to Olympia

The ceremony will be at the Rotonda inside the Legislative Building
Address: 416 Sid Snyder Avenue SW, Olympia, WA

From I-5 Southbound: Take “Exit 105 to State Capitol”, keep left for Exit 105A, and continue .8 miles to the roundabout at Jefferson Avenue. Continue straight through the roundabout and under the tunnel to Capitol Blvd. Continue across Capitol Blvd to the Capitol Building on Sid Snyder Ave SW (14th Ave becomes Sid Snyder Ave).

From I-5 Northbound: From I-5 Northbound: Take Exit 105 and bear left for the State Capitol/City Center exit. Cross over Interstate 5 and continue .3mi to the roundabout at Jefferson Ave. Continue straight through the roundabout and under the tunnel to Capitol Blvd. Continue across Capitol Blvd to the Capitol Building on Sid Snyder Ave SW (14th Ave becomes Sid Snyder Ave).

Parking

Parking is free on the weekends.  This map indicate all public parking on the Capitol Campus (on red).The event will be in the Legislative Building.

Lunch at the Columbia Room. Downstairs from the Rotunda.

Graduation ceremony at the Capitol Rotunda (Legislative Building).

3:15 pm

Time to get on the bus to take you back to where you parked your car. The bus leaves at 3:30 pm.

4:30 – 4:45 pm

Approximate arrival time to Everett.

5:30 – 5:45 pm

Approximate arrival time to Mt. Vernon.

Entrance Gate

Between 10:30 am and 11:00 am, the only entrance to the building that will be open is the one indicated on this map. The South East Entrance.

Capitolio South East Entrance

**The Graduation Ceremony is inside the Legislative Building, also known as The Capitolio.

Lunch

We will have lunch at the Columbia Room downstairs from the Rotunda.

Food will be provided at the event; however, please be aware that the food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, or wheat.
if you or someone in your family has allergies, we ask that you bring your food for safety.

Community Project from The Children's Leadership Training Institute

We appreciate your support for Child Leaders in the Children’s Leadership Training Institute (CLTI). Each age group is doing a community project to work on an issue of concern to that age group. They will bring their donations to the May 20th Graduation in Olympia. You are welcome to bring a donation for their community projects.

Just pick an item. Each group has generated a list of things they are collecting and chose the organization that will receive their donations. Please see the list below:

The Happy Transformers (ages 6-8) – Ms Millz.
Organization: Paws – Animal Shelter

New items only:
– Kongs
– Cat litter
– Non-retractable leashes
– Fleece blankets
– Toothbrushes
– Ziplock bags

The Caterpillars (ages 9 &10) – Ms Luisa
Organization: TreeHouse – Foster Care.

New and gently used:
– Infant, toddler, kids & young adult clothing (Anything suitable for ages 0-26)
– Shoes
– Scarfs, hats, headbands, gloves
– Luggage
– Books
– Toys and games (all pieces included and functioning)

Accepting new only:
– Socks, underwear, bras, and swimwear
– Blankets and stuffed animals
– School supplies – including lunch boxes and backpacks
– Hygiene items – including diapers and baby wipes
– Bikes, scooters and skateboards

The Cheese Dogs (ages 11 and 12) – Mrs Ivy
