Community Conversation

  •  Front and Centered is inviting a minimum of 10 PLTI alumni to a “Community Conversation” to hear their concerns on topics such as “Pollution prevention, environmental health, transportation, and mobility justice.
  •  For those who participate, WAFE offers a stipend of $50-$100 to attend (depending on the number of people who sign up).
  • This conversion will be on Tuesday, June 14, at 7 pm.

Public meeting on pandemic recovery funds

Snohomish County needs your help to meet the pandemic recovery needs of its workers, families, and small businesses and spend the $160 million federal recovery allocation.

  • In May and June, the county will be hosting five recovery events – one in each County Council district – where you can provide feedback on your recovery needs. These events are free and open to the public, and the county will provide activities for kids and dinner!
  • Come and let local leaders know how the pandemic has impacted you and your community and how Snohomish County can help you recover and thrive.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is offering eligible households high speed internet (100Mbps download) for $30 a month with no additional out of pocket costs.

There are three ways families can qualify:

  • Income of 200% or less than the federal poverty guidelines
  • Program participation (such as Free Reduced Lunch Program eligible, or SNAP, etc.), or
  • Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating broadband provider’s existing low-income internet program
